K.I.S.S.

Keep It Simple Stupid. Something that every girl should keep in mind when putting on make-up. When you want to go for a bold and dramatic look, remember to only choose one facial feature that you want to accentuate. It usually comes down to either your eyes or your lips.

When you want to go for a bold lip color, play down the eye make-up. One color that is in trend at the moment is mulberry red. This color looks absolutely amazing when paired with neutral eyes.
This doesn't mean that you should go slow on the mascara, NO. By all means, coat those lashes with a few coats of mascara and tightline those eyes! This again looks AMAZINGGG with a bold lip color. You would want to concentrate on enhancing your natural eye shape with a neutral color like brown. Contour your crease and open up those eyes with a light shimmery color on your tear-duct. K.I.S.S those eyes!

I love love LOVEEEE Eve's make-up in this picture. Electric blue eyeshadow (Cobalt from M.A.C?) and a beautiful nude lip. See how she toned it down by using a nude lip color instead of vibrant red or pink? You can also opt for a natural lip color. Ooooh, try brushing your lips with a toothbrush and apply a tinted lipbalm... I do this all the time and trust me, you will have the supplest looking lip that would go with any eye make-up of your choice.

xx!

Effortless Beauty

Looking flawless without slapping on too much make-up is what every girl wants. The best thing you can do to look effortlessly beautiful on a daily basis is to get organized in the make-up bag department.

This is a big no-no...
I'll be suggesting a few staple items that everyone should have in their make-up bag. When you take away the guesswork and scrambling around in the morning, you'll have so much time to get ready and look beautiful!

Sunscreen
The first item that everyone, including guys, should have is a sunscreen. Not only will this protect your skin from the harmful UV rays, but it also act as a primer for those who are gonna slap some foundation on after.
Foundation
Which brings us to our next item, foundation. Since we don't want to look like we're wearing a mask on our face, I can't stress enough on how important it is to get the right shade of foundation for yourself. Once you have that, don't forget to blend the edges well.
Bronzer
Next would be a MATTE bronzer. A matte bronzer can be used add a gorgeous glow to your face and also shade the sides of the bridge of your nose to give an illusion of a slimmer and pointier nose.
Cheek stain

And the last item to a flawless looking face is a cheek stain. The reason why I specifically chose a cheek stain instead of a powder blusher is mainly because it gives a more natural effect. My favorite would be Benetint by Benefit. It never fails to make me look AND feel summery!
